Why this is on Radar
Concept album: an alien observer watching a species that has ruined its own world, continuing Numan's late-period apocalyptic writing.
Numan writes from the perspective of an extraterrestrial visitor appalled and fascinated by human self-destruction. Heavier and more gothic than Savage, with the same ruined-planet frame.
